Our team

Meet our team

A figmental group of art experts and enthusiasts running the greatest art dealer ever known.

Jules Carnaby

CEO and Head of Wine

Jules studied Art History at the renowned Swindon Scool (sic) of Art, alma mater of artists like Sir Lawrence Cross and Joss Spaniel, and critic Hugo Spencer. For twenty years he dealt in Netherlandish art from 1856 to 1857. “I am not a generalist. I know more than anyone else in the world about my period. There is no more interesting period of art history than Holland 1856-57. However it is quite niche, so I have joined Pimlico Wilde to help with their European art sales.”

Esmeralda Pink

People Engineer

Born in Azerbaijan but educated in Moscow, (her father was an old school communist), Esmeralda (or Pinko to her friends) has lived in the Amazon rain forest for over twenty years. Her specialty is the work of Smythe Jeru and her followers, including Carson Yello and Sarah Woak. She is considered to be one of the leading experts in the world in the field of 18th century Peruvian engravings of rivers.

Teton Yu

Gallery Manager

Teton grew up in Hampstead, where he won Best Portrait for Under-Tens at the local fête

for a portrait of his cat. That was the zenith of his art career- he has put away the paint brushes and manages the gallery. He does still take photographs, focusing on images of cars that are not quite parked within their parking space.

Archia Tanz

Art advisor

Graduated from Much Marcle Arts and Business school, Archia enjoys cold water swimming and tofu. “Last year I swam from here to Paris and back. (Or at least a similar distance in my local municipal pool). I deal with works from 1870- 1900 and 1977-82. Musical favourites include Crockett & Ovett and the Darnley Oratorio.

Walta Bryce

Art critic

Her parents ran the National Art Gallery of Southern Bavaria and Sugo grew up in an apartment in the French Impressionist wing of the gallery. “Since then I have not been able to stand French Impressionism.

I much prefer Estonian Impressionism, which is where Impressionism really began. I am writing a six volume work on Estonian Impressionism which will be published next year.”

Zampa

Art advisor

Zampa comes from a long line of art collectors and helps advise clients which works to purchase. His hobbies are playing online chess tournaments, making pizze and narrow boat restoration.
