Photographer to the stars – Raffy

Raffy has been taking pictures since he was given a Polaroid for his second birthday. “The first picture I took was of my brother eating dog food. It won first prize in the Bad Parenting Awards in Nevada that year.”

Now he specialises in candid black and white reportage of the rich and famous. “I’m told that Raffy means he who records happenings for posterity in one of the ancient Inuit languages. There was therefore never any doubt that I would become a photographer. Well, there was a little moment when my father wanted me to become an ice dancer or run the local bookmakers, but I soon changed my course from joint honours in ice skating and gambling to Photography and have never looked back.

I quite like some of his pictures
