We’ve been having a very important discussion. Hercule Poirot and Sherlock Holmes both have great sidekicks - Capt Hastings and Dr Watson. But who is best? It’s split right down the middle. Hastings is more of a loveable dimwit, but Watson is a medic and a writer. But does he supply Holmes with his injectables?

I vote for hastings, but as to the principals, I prefer Holmes. A Sherlock and Hastings mystery, now that would be something!
