Human emotion - hope to self-hatred in less time than it takes to digest a croque monsieur
Feb 8th, 2009 by Mr X
How does optimism dissipate? I wish I understood. There was this person, let’s call him Mr X…One moment he is optimistic, a few hours later, nothing material has changed but he is looking at the same future with utter horror. It makes no sense. Who said nothing matters very much and in the end nothing really matters at all? Do you think that is true? It’d be good to get some thoughts from you folks on this. How do keep yourself up? That’s another thing about Mr X, he can’t face going to sleep. Stays up hours. This man is nuts. Staying sane, how do you manage it?
Ideas please!
